This week, students are working toward the following learner outcome:

 

Students will assess, critically, how the Aztecs were affected by the Spanish worldview by exploring and reflecting upon the following question:

 

What key elements of Spain’s worldview led to the desire to expand the Spanish empire?

 

We have looked at Chapter 9 together.  Beginning tomorrow, students will be demonstrating their understanding by responding to questions from the text. 

 

As well, please remember that we have current events this Friday.  Students should know, based on conversations with their group members, who is responsible for bring a current event this week.  The assignment and the rubric can be found on D2L under the shell 8-02 Core.
